#2 See Saw

Created by the children of Great Willbraham School CE Primary School in Cambridgeshire, See Saw shows a moving see saw and a collection of walking sticks!

This is a really interesting design which allows the note to be played every 2 seconds with only a 0.1 second delay between pressing the trigger and the note actually being played. The delay is important in choosing which finger plays which note, and also in determining how the conductor will instruct the musicians.

And here is this mechanism being used to smash a world record on 19th August 2019. You can see it in action in the full film on our homepage.
